Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Consultation Event in Leeds

Last year, Momentum surveyed our Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) members and supporters to assess the state of BAME Labour . The results painted a dismal picture of a failing organisation. On the basis of this, we submitted proposals to radically transform BAME Labour into an autonomous, well-resourced organisation capable of representing all BAME party members and taking on institutional racism in society.

Now, the Labour Party is consulting BAME Labour Party members in Leeds at Queen’s Hotel, Leeds, LS1 1PJ from noon to 4pm on Saturday 30 June. On the basis of the consultation, the Democracy Review will report to the National Executive Committee this summer and any rule changes coming out of the Review will go to Annual Conference later this year, so this is a great opportunity to have your say.

Please note this is a Labour Party event. Only Labour Party members who apply via the link on the party website will be able to attend.
