Disability Consultation Event in Birmingham
In our Democracy Review consultation, disabled members made it clear that they are unhappy with current levels of representation of disabled members in the Labour Party. In our submission to the Democracy Review, Momentum has called for a number of steps to improve representation and to reform Disability Labour to make it more responsive to disabled members.
Now, disabled Labour Party members have the chance to have a say at the Disability consultation, which is taking place at Canalside, Birmingham, B1 1RN from noon to 4pm on Saturday 9 June. On the basis of the consultation, the Democracy Review will report to the National Executive Committee this summer and any rule changes coming out of the Review will go to Annual Conference later this year, so this is a great opportunity to have your say.
