Momentum National Conference

In July we’re having a weekend in Durham – and we want you to join us.

There’ll be Momentum National Conference on the Sunday, as well two of the most exciting, independent left wing events in Europe on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday: the People, Pits and Politics Festival and Durham Miners Gala.

It’s your chance to get to know other Momentum supporters from across the country, hear from some of the movement’s most inspiring voices and celebrate everything we’ve achieved this year.

Get skilled up and hear from some of the movement’s most inspiring voices. From inspiring grassroots campaigns to the big names of the Labour movement, the Momentum National Conference will feature training sessions, socials, debates and talks all designed to make sure you learn new skills, meet new people and have a good time while doing it.
Get to know other Momentum supporters from across the country. Momentum’s Conference is an opportunity to meet Momentum supporters from across the country, get to know each other, share experience and build our movement.
It’s been a big year, let’s celebrate everything we’ve achieved. We had Labour’s extraordinary result in the snap election, the largest, most vibrant conference Labour has held in years and a successful local elections campaign that took us one step closer to power. Now let’s celebrate it, together.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY: People, Pits & Politics – a festival of organising and political education taking place on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th July. Featuring: Paul Mason, Billy Bragg, Mark Steel and more. Run by People, Pits & Politics; buy your tickets here.

SATURDAY: Durham Miners Gala – join 200,000 trade unionists at the largest socialist event in Europe on Saturday 14th July. Run by the Durham Miners’ Association, it’s been going since 1871. No ticket is needed.

SUNDAY: Momentum National Conference – a day of training, talks and networking followed by drinks on Sunday 15th July. Get your tickets here.
